  • Jojo Rabbit

    Jojo Rabbit

    Love the British boy!

  • El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie

El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie

Like watching two episodes of Breaking Bad. Everyone does a great job but I wish the ending could’ve coalesced into something new. Robert Forster was very good 😌

  • Parasite

    Parasite

    Para-great!

  • Mister America

    Mister America

No comedy mythos has ever been so realized as ‘On Cinema’. Something I stumbled upon wandering YouTube six years ago has forever changed my understanding of structure, medium and character. I do think it will be long remembered, there’s really nothing like it. Glad to see it at the movies!

  • Pain and Glory

    Pain and Glory

Waited a day trying to think of anything of rivet to say, but all I can think about is Antonio in the green jacket at the doctor’s office with the leafy wall-paper. Great shot, great jacket, great wallpaper, good film! Wore my green jacket today like some nerd buying the Drive jacket on Etsy in 2012. Pain and Glory is my Drive.

(Let me know how you feel about my use of “rivet” here. Trying it out on letterboxd before I move it to my daily vocab!)

  • Joker

    Joker

I did a lotta leg drumming during this one. I dunno, I guess I liked when he got in the fridge? That’s funny. Stay in the fridge, Joker!

  • Ad Astra

    Ad Astra

Wretched title...great movie! Cerebral and empathetic!  Cathartic, too. Fun to be at the movies once again ... space rules but ; also — hurts! MOVIE!!

  • Between Two Ferns: The Movie

    Between Two Ferns: The Movie

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

  • Hustlers

    Hustlers

Swept up by “A Hustlers Christmas!”

  • Sunset Boulevard

    Sunset Boulevard

    Fun-set Bravo-levard!

  • The Peanut Butter Falcon

    The Peanut Butter Falcon

Shia is always good. That is all I will say!

  • Brazil

    Brazil

True, masterful gonzo! “Everyday is Christmas” as a consequence free d-plot is still one of my favorite bits around. In film school, I used to say this was my favorite movie, and was always kind of lying (I like Jaws), but you can see why that would be the cool thing for me to say.

Apologies to those just finding out I went to film school.
