I really need an entire Downton Abbey-style upstairs/downstairs series about the people who work at The Continental.

excited to tell my therapist that I was deeply stressed out by this movie while the rest of the audience was cracking up

not enough JLo and too much of Woody Harrelson’s terrible haircut. They don’t make movie stars like Wesley Snipes anymore.

I could watch 100 hours of Alessandro Nivola playing a frustrated Boston detective. Also… will be furious about the Luke Kirby fake-out for years to come.

the surreal stuff wasn’t for me but I love the boat scenes. Meg Ryan can make things work that absolutely shouldn’t, a legend.

much better when the characters are yelling at each other than when they are being sentimental

Nothing special but a fun thriller that does its job. Kurt Russell doesn’t do anything particularly notable in this, he’s just a movie star.

much more nuanced than I expected and not enough Sandra Bullock
