Garrett Foster’s review published on Letterboxd:
Single most incomprehensible blockbuster I’ve ever seen. This is a film in which (a) an almost parodically labyrinthe story begins in media res, (b) the plot thereafter progresses both forward and backward simultaneously, (c) the narrative chronology is jumbled even during stretches when the film is moving in just one direction, and (d) much of the dialogue, Nolan’s principal tool for audience orientation, is inaudible for no reason whatsoever. I physically threw my hands up out of confusion four times. But sure, why not, let’s gawk at that Boomerang effect.
Extra half-star is for the cast.
