I’ve seen movies that feel purposefully long just for the sake of being long, but Sátántangó uses every second to build its world, characters, and story. It feels justified in its length and drawn out visual style. If you have an entire day to kill, then why not give it a watch? You can brag about having seen a 7 hour long Hungarian film!
