I’m not quite sure what people are complaining about, but maybe it’s because people are that hesitant to change, or have the attention span of a peanut. Zhao brings a very distinct style to the MCU, one that we haven’t seen before. Eternals is calm, patient, beautiful and endlessly fascinating. I loved learning about these characters, and each casting nailed it, minus Sprite who I found to be a bit wooden. Zhao helms the action tremendously, and while it does take a bit to get invested, I loved the parts I did. It also sets up an EXCITING future. The reception really is baffling. Get with it people, not everything needs to be 3 hours of quips and endless action.
