A horror movie unfolding in broad daylight. Two women, one of whom is determined to live an unexamined life at another cost, the other meticulously picking it apart at the seams. Both playing at the truth but building their houses upon foundations of artifice and more artifice.
The butterfly symbolism gutted me. Joe caring for generations of butterflies year after year, setting them free, knowing he can never escape his own cage.
