Parts of this story line was compelling. Most of it was unrealistic...

Some of the main themes... following your dream, feeling trapped, discovering passions, compromising for love.. or maybe compromising decisions for comfort, or for obligation... these themes are what were so compelling.

Leo's character was a little too predictable. His emotions were extremely cliche. He was the angered by anything that should make a man angry, tempted by what would tempt a man, saddened by what would saddened a man. His emotions were the easiest and reactory impulses. His wife on the other hand had more depth and surprise. The film lost me at the whole neighbor thing and the whole baby abortion thing. But I don't want to say too much.
