Holds up! And actually maybe looks a bit better - I was on the side of the people who wished the dream sequences had been a bit more, well, dream-like on release, but rewatching this in light of Nolan's successful loosening-up in Interstellar and Dunkirk makes the upright, straight-faced professionalism of his characters here feel more palatable. The scene with Tom Hardy telling Joseph Gordon-Levitt to "dream a little bigger, darling" is one of those increasingly rare instances where you can see the exact moment someone becomes an A-list movie star.
