Mercuriales ★★★½

Dreamy little French indie that attempts to expand that feeling you get when you're walking around a city at a far too late hour of the night into a metaphor for the transient, anonymous, neon-lit world of gig-economy-era capitalism. It's not a wholly new idea - Alex Cox did something similar in Three Businessmen - but it's executed well and confident in its opaqueness. The presence of an Iron Man costume at a sex club makes me wonder if I could get away with persuading people they needed to watch this before Avengers: Endgame.
