High octane and smooth action that is easy to follow, this is definitely a John Wick film. Although this film was a bit more exaggerated and ridiculous than previous installments, which was more appealing to me than what parabellum offered. Futhermore, there were some scenes and encounters that could have been shortened or left out, as some of the action dragged out. I also further wish that they could explain how the world of John Wick operates, as they introduce…
The strongest DC film to date (IMO) with a strong origin story that I could believe and experience. The villain had substance, avoiding the issue of one dimensional characterization that other super villains tend to become. I was dissatisfied with the seven deadly sins, as they are an amazing force of evil that should have exploited the kids for their desires, rather than being vague monsters that barely represent the sin they associate with. With all considered, I am excited to see future installments.
