a little bit one note for me and honestly not enough ezra miller. i would literally watch them get an a in biology or whatever the fuck they said.

honestly this is why i would never have kids. what if they have bad vibes? literally what then??

ooooh i really liked this, and i don’t even think that my admiration of andrew garfield has biased me too much in that regard. he was obviously absolutely brilliant and captivating, but i loved all the other elements as well. regrettably i’m not too familiar with larson’s work, having never seen rent (though i know seasons of love absolutely slaps) so this was a really interesting watch. honestly loved loads of the songs. this could actually be a 4.5 for me. i’ll keep it in mind.

i, too, would purposefully ignore 1000 massive fucking red flags if robert pattinson was standing in front of me with his glittery abs out. also kristen stewart being into girls is such a fat W for the LGBTQ+ community and a true blessing for me. this film is unironically great - sick soundtrack, sick cast, brilliant moments of comedy and spooky vampire suspense. the baseball scene ALONE warrants 5 stars. i literally can’t think of a single way i could improve this. as my good friend lorde would say: this is some melodrama, baby!

i’m a lesbian so i will never be able to understand the financial crash or anything to do with finance (cut to me in kent shouting “why can’t they just print more money! everything is a construct!” at poor henry michaelson, sorry henry) however the brief cameos from selena gomez (my first gay crush) and margot robbie (my last gay crush) earned two stars respectively.
