    I've watched Crossroads a lot over the years and, even though it'd been a very long while since my last viewing, it was nice to realize it still strikes a chord with me. 

    This film has a strong story with interesting characters at its core that helps keep the movie grounded throughout while not taking itself too seriously...periodically poking fun at itself when the opportunities arise.
