A rewatch of this one since the sequel is popping out.
I'm still not convinced by Michael Nyqvist in this. He makes a particularly poor villain - like Bennett in Commando but with zero comedy. Maybe getting a Swedish actor to do a Russian accent wasn't the best idea in the world.
Otherwise it's an entertaining bundle of silliness, although the wife dying in the first few minutes to be replaced by a dog which then also dies is slightly problematic. Women = dogs is never a great connotation.
