52 Week Challenge - Week 9 - A Satire Film

10/10

Only the second first time watch I've gave a ten to so far this year.

💕The Good:
This film ticked so many boxes for me, it was funny, exciting, emotional, adorable and looked fantastic.
The films pacing was spot on and the soundtrack was brilliant.

All of the characters were amazing. Wasn't as fussed on Rebel Wilson as she annoys me in general but in this she didn't actually irritate me that much.
Roman Griffin Davis, Thomasin McKenzie and Archie Yates (loved him so much) are some of the best child actors I've ever seen! I can't wait to see what films they do in the future. Scarlett and Sam were also extra fantastic.
And Taika was as great as I expected him to be even with his dodgy accent ha.

💩The Bad:
Nothing for me to do personally with the film but I did have something spoiled for me, which meant I knew something was coming the whole way through which sadly lessened its emotional wallop to more of an emotional skelp. I would have cried more if I hadn't known.

😍Eye Candy:
Scarlett Johansson and Sam Rockwell always and forever amen.

So overall, just bloody fantastic! I'm excited to watch it again and I will definitely be adding it to my collection.
