The strength of this movie is in the many small choices made by the filmmaker: the way Sara chews her hair, the sweltering summer, and the constant visual reminders of the body Sara inhabits (costumes, blue sucker dye, bare feet, and the landscape of roly poly male bodies around her, etc).
