I would be lying if I said that I've understood this movie completely. Or partially. Or even a bit! But it has been simply wonderful!
It's the first movie of Satoshi Kon that I see, so I don't know if it's peculiar of his style, but all the bodies of the characters and their movements seem extremely natural and realistic so every frame seems the drawing of a real frame.
And the parade is so full of colors and little details and everything is so joyful and so creepy at the same time!
The plot itself, the simple part that I've understood, is a bit predictable and usually I would complain about it but now I really don't care at all; I don't know, maybe it's because it has been a long time since I last watched a japan animation movie and Paprika showed me all the things that I love about them and I missed so much!
