Giouxsie’s review published on Letterboxd:
I simply love Taika Waititi's boundless joyous energy, which here truly breathes life into this installment of a franchise that at this stage had become a grey homogeneous assembly line. And because of that, it finally gives us an MCU movie that actually looks like a comic (beautiful fusion of Dauterman's, the then current artist, and Kirby's art styles). It's even structured like a comic too and has the wonderful absurdity of the best Thor comics!
Love the cast here, all of whom do a great job at these open hearted performances, with lots of heartfelt sadness and great comedy, and almost all of whom are hottttttt!!! Honestly Cate Blanchett Hela, Tessa Thompson Valkyrie, Idris Elba Heimdall and Chris Hemsworth Thor, please kill me, if you have the time please, masters!! Everyone worshipping Valkyrie is me during every second she's on screen!
Also Taika regular, Rachel House is so damn funny in this!! I love every line delivery she gives
