Look, these days it'd be prestige and it would be on HBO and it would have a major actor and it would be MARE OF EASTTOWN. But this made-for-tv small-town detective murder mystery is the sort of stuff I wish there were more of. It doesn't need to be any of those aforementioned things. It does what it does and that's okay. A nice lazy weekend afternoon watch.
