completed Bela Tarr's 7 Hour 19 Minute masterpiece 😎

Satantango is a film I didn't think I'd ever watch in my life yet here I am writing a review on it. First hour had me wondering if I was too young to watch and understand this masterpiece but I decided to continue and I definitely am glad I have. The runtime has always intimidated me and I'm sure you too it you haven't seen it. Don't let it. Its definitely worth the watch if you can handle incredibly slow films with the first shot being a 15 minute shot of cows.I found this film had a distinct lack of entertainment but it was more of an experience than an enjoyable watch. Personally I don't understand how someone can call this their 'favourite film' because a favourite to me is something fun, easy to revisit and bonus points if it's a masterpiece. I don't want to say too much because I am now making a YouTube video as you are reading this which should be out tomorrow. But just know this was great and is going somewhere in my top 100.
