A new all time low point for comics on screen.
The odd couple chit chat between Eddie Brock and his Alien companion Is as cringe as can be and a betrayal of everything the characters Is supposed to be. The result Is a movie with nowhere to go but to Chase what It thinks Is the audience's desire. The very definition of a formula for disaster

    Why so serious?
There Is an excess of gravitas in the way these two Kids interact and no Joy of directing no sense of wonder in a story that Is supposed to be filled with It.
I'm all for Having Kids on screen with a complex inner Life but the limit Is that they can't have the exact same inner Life as adults

    Part One?!?!?!?

A movie with characters that shout "We are not relatable at all. This Is not grounded even for a second".
Me watching people with problems light Years from mine, dealing with huge events and no possible mirror of my Life. Even the native low level people are way above me.

Still what a movie, what a sensational narrative power to establish a world from skratch relying on visual cues. It exploits all the arts that make a film (music, architetture, costume, visuals...) to try and make the ultimate auteur blockbuster.
