This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

    So.
I started my Gaspar Noe journey by watching climax two months ago (check out my review) and immediately that movie became one of those movies of my lifetime. The impact it leaves after watching the movie and you're not the same person anymore. Well, similar happened to me with this one as well and I'm not even exaggerating.

I am really getting the hang of Noe. That colour palette, that camera work, the chaos, the anarchism, Gaspar comes with…

Since 2018 I have repeatedly seen this coming in my suggestions in Google and each and everytime I had skipped past it because of the title and the poster and also because I didn't know it was Aronofsky's. And so me and trisha just went for it.

Aronofsky always makes movies mainly depicting addiction, this is also one. The more I watched the more it got twisted, the more I got anxious, the more I sat on the edge, the…

It wasn't the greatest of a musical biography like Amadeus which this deserved to be imo but nonetheless a beautiful romantic story which is also a biography. Gary Oldman did as Gary Oldman does best and also the cast did an amazing job. The ending was heartbreaking :')

But my only dissatisfaction is that I wanted more. The field was set, the players were playing. Why not a bit more about Beethoven himself and how he wrote all his legendary…

Denzel Washington, take a bow. One of the best black actors ever, if not the best. And when Viola Davis the fckn queen is on the other side then boy do we have a good fucking drama.

It is so intense that my eyes were watery all of a sudden somewhere near the middle. A nearly 10/10 act by the whole crew. Loved it.

I will surely recommend this to people who are in need for a psychological thriller/horror film. Watched it with my girl to draw a perfect end to the weekend.

This is definitely going in my 'fucked up families' list. Boy was this dark. The plot was really interesting and also restricted in some kind.

What all belief can make people do huh!

Initially I was hesitating a bit, but ngl it had me intrigued. The ending was a bit of a headscratcher, though i really enjoyed the twists which were really good.

I let this rot in my watchlist for so long that i nearly forgot that I had to watch this gem. One of the very best anthology films I have ever seen. All of the stories were equally great.

So last night i just went ahead and watched this with Trish. A perfect movie for a perfect impromptu sick leave that we took together. xD

Well, what all can people do when they are really pushed to their edges.
