Rear Window 1954
I once saw my neighbor packing a suitcase and it turns out he was cooking meth in his basement and the cops showed up and arrested him.

The Fabelmans 2022
Definitely went too hard on the negative aspects the first time. The good stuff is just too good. The scene of Sammy making the camping movie may be my favorite single scene of this year, and the three lead performances are all great in their own ways, but Paul Dano smashes it. Definitley making its ways up the 2022 rankings.

Babylon 2022
From the first ten minutes I thought this was gonna be a chore to sit through. If Babylon had continued to be as gratuitous and unfunny as its intro, I don’t know if I could’ve stomached three hours of it. Luckily, it toned itself down on the gross-out humor, I appreciated a bit more how its over the top bits were kind of part of the point, and we met in the middle. A Christmas Story 1983
The best part when they look out the window on Christmas night and see the snow falling.

It's a Wonderful Life 1946
George Bailey can be a little sus from time to time, but who among us isn’t? Such a rewarding film

Charlie Brown's All-Stars! 1966
I never watch any other specials on the disc, but if I didn’t I would’ve missed Schroeder’s best moment

Sally says all she wants is what she’s got coming to her. Sally you flip out on Linus in the pumpkin patch when it’s your own damn fault for listening to him, you harass him during thanksgiving and abandon your own brother and dog as they have to cook dinner for their ungrateful friends, and you think you deserve fuckin tens and twenties? You’d be lucky to get ones. Also everyone calls Charlie Brown by his full name in the entire series (not counting peppermint patty) and then Lucy just calls him Charlie one time randomly in this.

The Fabelmans 2022
Very strong, very mixed feelings on this. As a lover of film, a person aspiring to be a part of the film industry, and a person with divorced parents, this was definitely an impactful watch. There were some scenes where it would be exactly what I needed to see today, or it would connect with me deeper than anything I’ve seen before, and then there were sections where it became far less engaging. I won’t question why certain characters make…

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King 2003
Legolas is that one friend who let you copy his homework and cheat off him every day of highschool, but you weren’t really close with him enough to remember, but when he walks in with all your real friends you gotta acknowledge him
