Letterboxd — Your life in film

Yeah the beginning’s cool, but once we get to Redford and Newman together we’re back in the sweet spot. George Roy Hill knows how to direct these motherfuckers so well. Like Butch Cassidy, this is a great homage, while still being it’s own thing because of the two excellent leads. I guess this trio always gets it right, and some Robert Shaw thrown in definitley doesn’t hurt.

Does Donnie Yen exclusively play blind martial arts masters in franchise blockbusters? Either way he was awesome.
