This movie RULES. The Outsiders re-imagined as a French new wave movie directed by Elia Kazan. The best Coppola after his four seventies masterpieces. 

This is also the third of a trilogy of films I've watched this weekend (THE DEAD ZONE, JACKIE BROWN) where I've seen them before sort of, but slept through a good chunk of them. 

Mickey Rourke in this- perhaps my greatest cinematic man crush of all time.

Makes for a nice double feature with JUICE. And will in turn make for a nice double feature with IT, which I'm seeing tomorrow night (!!!).
