Paul Elliott’s review published on Letterboxd:
Priorities is a touchingly delicate animated short from Gints Zilbalodis which sees him chiefly experimenting with long takes. It follows a man stranded on an isolated island with his dog, becoming confronted increasingly with the canine wanting to play and be acknowledged; however, the man merely wants to escape and leave the island behind. It emphasises the requirements of being aware and taking satisfaction in the more immediate things in life even though they may seem contradictory to more immediate requisites. I'm very much a dog person, so I found this short to be rather delightful.
