Trudie’s review published on Letterboxd:
Endlessly nostalgic, delicate at centre and hilarious. In Scotland T2 is the hot topic right now. It's what we've been waiting for and the risk of a disappointing sequel is always apparent. But every time you think T2 might lose its charm it shows a flicker, a spark of memory. A piece of music, a voice or a visual feeling that brings you back to the offbeat and strange world of Trainspotting even if it is for one fleeting moment, time stands still and the harsher parts of this journey are reintroduced.
It reflects on its original without leaning on it and stays respectful to its growth and roots.
I'll use the word nostalgic again, because it is. Watching this movie kind of felt like returning home.
