I have never seen something that binds reality and the paranormal so seemlessly. I’m in awe.

The most horrific thing about this is how emotional it made me. NELLIE DESERVED BETTER.

Also. Carla Gugino really fukn did it for me.

If you rated Gone Girl less than 5 stars it’s probably because Nick Dunne reminded you of yourself.

Anyway. Excelllllent performance by Rosamund Pike. And yet again, David Fincher establishes himself as one the best directors of this generation. His command of your attention and impeccable timing are incomparable.

Also may I add. When Fincher cuts the sound and black flashes on the screen when **** is killed !

It was confusing, it was fun. It was colourful and it was sad. This retro futuristic world really got my nips hard too.

I would give it 5 stars if Jonah Hill didn’t make me feel so uncomfortable.

This shit was filmed on 16mm so it’s got that sweet fuzziness about it. Chef kiss**
Straight ppl say that they were distant and cold. Yikes. You just don’t get it. There’s a tentativeness in how they approached each other and honestly I fukn felt that on a level. The fear, the doubt, and the discovery that they share that connection :’)
Cate Blanchett’s performance was honestly just mesmerising. I couldn’t stop thinking about it for days. And the costumes were so beautifully crafted too.

I WOULDST LIKE TO LIVE DELICIOUSLY

On the real. This wasn’t explicitly terrifying in the way horror films usually are. But fuck. I almost shat my pants. It uses realism, atmosphere and sound to immerse you so deeply into the 1630s. The score and the pace work well together to create increasing paranoia.

Also I am now scared of goats.
