Movies are super serious business. Also I make movie posters that Im very proud of:
Im creating a new sub-genre its called netflix-fi, its for a very specific type of film. A post-apolypse/world ending movie, with a smaller budget, that has a good idea at its core and is well shot, but the dialog is super underwritten, and it has one theme that it kinda beats you over the head with. Its name is a mash of vaguely sciency words, that is completely forgettable and interchangeable. It will inevitably get 3 stars, and you will completely forgot you watched it shortly after.
This is netflix-fi.
Color me surprised, this is actually a pretty good little film. I mean you could cut 30 mins out of it easy, and it hits you over the head with the music selections ala Suicide Squad, and the stories not exactly Shakespeare but Emma Stone plays a good Cruella, and also looks fantastic in a mustache. The Joker Wears Prada is a completely valid summation of this movie. But its an easy to watch, enjoyable movie.
