Jack McCoy’s review published on Letterboxd:
It could have been a masterpiece. In fact, I'd say the first hour, hour and a half is perfect. There are too many pointless scenes, or scenes that reiterate points brought up earlier that detract from the experience. It should have been two hours or less. The motorcycle scene and the scene following it could have been cut, easily, as could have been the scene with Joaquin Phoenix strangling PSH's old editor who calls his new work 'trash'.
Alas, it's not the masterpiece it could have/should have been. Having said that, it is an incredibly enjoyable experience, much more than it was the first time I saw it.
"IT'S A FUCKING WALL!!!!"
