Griffin Schiller’s review published on Letterboxd:
Man does The Rise of Skywalker MOVE....perhaps TOO much. This film hits the ground running & doesn’t let up. Jumping from scene to scene almost catching up on everything fans wanted fixed in The Last a Jedi. JJ’s energy is all over this thing which is good and bad at times. A Last Crusade style adventure at its best. The bromance between Poe & Finn steals the film, but sadly this movie was far more concerned with plot and answering questions than character. Everything felt jam packed and rushed. Too much of the wrong kind of fan service. The worst reaction I can give is that I felt nothing walking out, which for Star Wars, is more than sad. It’s a fine film? But the more I’ve thought about it the less I like it...such a disappointing conclusion to this saga.
