The elves went too far!

1. I still don't like Will Ferrell;
2. Rachel McAdams is a gift.

I'm a big fan of the Eurovision Song Contest and I have to say that this film is very timely as the contest was cancelled this year. It's a small irony that the symbolic winner of Eurovision 2020 is Iceland (Daði & Gagnamagnið, Think about things). By the way, I must say that my preference this year was for the Russians (Little Big, Uno), please come back next year.

After watching the trailer, I suspected that this film would receive a lot of negative comments and ratings, but fortunately we don't all have the same tastes, I loved it (except for the end).

I have to say that the film entertained me and captured what I liked best about the contest (the sometimes singular performances, even if it was more caricatured than anything else) but even if their last song is much better than the one they initially chose to enter the contest, I don't like too predictable endings (interrupting the performance to say ‘Come on, I know I don't have my stage clothes on, but at least I'm back, by the way, let's change the song even if we get disqualified’ and then kiss, it's really that one cliché that bothers me the most).

PS: BILAL HASSANI! I wasn't expecting to see you in this movie, if you're reading this : you deserve all your success ♥
