They think that if they don’t kill you, something very bad will happen to the family. Now, I had to play along so that I can get you out. But the house is on lock down right now, so it’s going to be really tricky.
Even though the ending where the bodies explode makes me laugh every time, I would have loved to have an alternate ending where they don't explode and realize how stupid they were and how the fear of dying because of a belief in the existence of a curse blinded them, an alternate ending where we find out that it's just another trick/game by Mr. Le Bail.
Alex, I don't forgive you.
