This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

"Ahead of it's time" feels like an offensive understatement for Stanley Kubrick's "2001: A Space Odyssey". It is currently 2AM and i just finished watching this in my dark living room with nothing but HAL's creepy close-ups to light up the room.
Do I have a full understanding of what the hell just happened? Absolutely not.
Am I in love with the strange yet captivating feeling Kubrick has left me in? Absolutely.
I love that I have to do research…

easily the craziest movie ive seen ever. i have tears streaming down my face right now and i just saw the most bizarre sets of pictures in my life. you either get this movie or you don't. this is for the people who have a flaming passion for film and can't put it into words. i think damien chazelle made an insane homage to cinema. the last 30 minutes had me sobbing profusely.
