    Ouija: Origin of Evil

This film still has no right to be anything but awful. It’s a prequel to one of the worst horror movies i’ve personally ever seen. But fortunately, because we have Mike Flanagan directing it’s a damn good horror movie!

It feels like so much went in to crafting a believable environment for this story. It takes place in the 1960s and Flanagan makes sure it looks and feels like a 60s horror film. You can obviously tell it’s modern, but…

My 6th grade music teacher recommended this to me when It came out since he knew I loved horror. And for some reason, I never watched it until now. I really enjoyed it!

This entire film feels like an homage to 1980s horror, especially the score! The score feels very 80s, it’s awesome! I also loved the cinematography! This movie is more smart rather than scary I think. It follows is an ambiguous horror movie which I really like. It…

This was hilarious! Hot Fuzz feels like a satire on the entire action genre, which I think is pretty funny! There were so many references to other action films and the film also follows the same plot-structure most action films do, but it is definitely intentional. It’s a very self aware and entertaining buddy cop comedy.

Sometimes It just got a little bit too ridiculous for my taste, and the humor is very British so all the jokes didn’t land for me. Nevertheless, It’s overall a very funny action comedy!

Everything about it is just perfect. You sometimes find yourself thinking of a film or song that just makes you happy, and you just can’t seem to let it go... That happens to me on a daily basis with La La…
