It’s cute. Like in a fine way. That’s all I have to say and really all it had to offer.
I keep reading that people are saying this is a “coming of age” film... I just want to point out that this is completely inaccurate. Kajillionaire is a “coming of presence” film. It is a film about recognition of trauma and identity and what it means to accept those things. Age is but a number and I feel like that description dampens the emotional depth of this movie.
