Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe 2022
Very sweet and understated! I had uncertain expectations for this; I initially read the book years ago and really liked it, then reread it last year and found it to be kind of corny and extremely YA, not really to my taste anymore (but still touching, and occasionally really heavy). Really nicely done, and a moment that I still remembered from the book years later made it into the movie, when Dante’s just grinning and goes, “I’m crazy about my parents,” like Dante Quintana really is the sweetest kid on earth!
