La La Land 2016
What do you mean, “you hate La La Land”? It’s such a blanket statement, “you don’t like La La Land”. I just think that people, when they say, y’know, they hate La La Land... they just... they don’t... have context. They don’t know where it comes from.
It’s a brilliant ode to the classics and to “the biz” (🤢), and I don’t want to hear otherwise. It does forget it’s a musical about halfway through, but I’ll allow it.
