They gotta start designing better poster for great movies like this on Tubi because man, I’ve been skipping this title because of its hideous poster. But I read on Reddit that Howard’s Mill is worth to watch, so I gave it a try.

I’m not kidding you, it was so great, way beyond my expectation. All the actors in this movie play the role so naturally, so believable. And the mockumentary itself was edited in such a way that keeps…

    Malignant

    ★★

It’s really nothing special. It’s a great movie for the theater - with its bland script yet loud background music. But what do I expect from James Wan, this is exactly the kind of film he would make. So if you’re into his works, you’d definitely love it.

This format of documentary - where they only use real recordings and footages -  is incredibly enjoyable to watch.

This is a story about a vengeful man seeking justice without realizing that he’s losing himself to the devil in the process. I found myself rooting for him as if he’s doing my dirty work for me.

I Saw The Devil is highly masterful, which is almost always expected from Korean cinema. In it you can see the director’s craftsmanship and experience greatly displayed. Something you cannot help but appreciate and be inspired by.

This movie is PACKED with triggers though, so be warned for those who are sensitive about sexual abuse and torture.
