this is cinema, art, and talent at its purest form.

i would still get blown away every time i watch this film. Moses Supposes is still my favorite performance but I am always in awe of Donald O'Connor's performance in Make Em Laugh. the athleticism required to pull off that performance is breathtaking. and honestly if i was don lockwood i would've left kathy selden for cosmo brown in a heartbeat!! the chemistry of cosmo and don is undeniable and i would've loved to see more of it.

again, this is why i love seeing casts that are dancers/singers who can act rather than actors who can dance/sing in musicals
