well that was a film; it's camp. i appreciate the symbolisms, like the odd conceptualization of annette. i didn't know leos carax can make something like this. i can really see the eagerness all of the people behind this have exerted, but unfortunately i really just didn't connect with it. the singing bored me, and i almost detested the stand-up comedy. if their goal is provocation, they definitely succeeded in doing so.
