i initially didn't know what to expect to this film, but i suppose it still delivers what it has in store. however i prefer the 'finding mom' plotline tho rather than the 'saving the love interest' plotline—too unnecessary i almost abhorred it. they should've focused more on enola's mother and her underground movement; that would've been momentous. plus, the whole tewkesbury situation has many plot holes or is being nonsensical i believe. anyways, i loved that part wherein enola was being reprimanded by her brother in the carriage; the acting performance jumped out. i admired as well how they applied some feminist touches throughout the film. i also loved the idea of breaking the fourth wall, but it could've been wittier just like how fleabag used it. so yeah i recommend this film for the bored ones.
