    Project Power

    ★½

Cool idea I guess but pretty shit turnout. You'd think with the start-studded cast this would have been at least memorizing in some way but it was really just forgettable and pretty boring.

  • The Week Of

    The Week Of

    ★½

My biggest issue with The Week Of has always been the same since I watched this film for the first time and that is that the film opens these genuinely interesting storylines but instantly abandons them and never revisits them just constantly leaving you wanting more and expecting the film to eventually leave the silliness and dive into the more serious subject matter. Like clearly they made the groom's father's absence in his family's life a huge part of the story but the film never went all the way in and explored it.

    ★½

I wish someone wrote my name in the death note after the first 10 minutes of this movie.

I don't know why I just watched this

  • Spenser Confidential

    Spenser Confidential

    ★½

Spenser Confidential wasn't horrible but it's nowhere near as good as it could have been. Sadly no one cared about this movie so it ended up being a forgettable jumbled mess. I mean there' wasn't even a performance worth watching which sucks because I expected a lot from this cast especially from Mark Whalberg and Winston Duke!

  • Jumanji: The Next Level

    Jumanji: The Next Level

    ★½

Plot- When Spencer goes back into the fantastical world of Jumanji, pals Martha, Fridge and Bethany re-enter the game to bring him home. But the game is now broken -- and fighting back. Everything the friends know about Jumanji is about to change, as they soon discover there's more obstacles and more danger to overcome.

I have one rule when it comes to sequels and that is that I just don't want it to be exactly the same as the…

  • The Dirt

    The Dirt

    ★½

Kind of fun and exciting but that aspect of the film fizzles out early and becomes a horribly edited, boring and just hard to watch film. The cast is alright but the story is inaccurate a lot which literally ruins anything actually interesting about this movie. I didn't have high expectations going into it yet I still somehow ended up being disappointed. I'd just say skip this but I mean if you're into the cliche rockstar films then you may actually like this generic, boring, inaccurate and predictable waste of a film.

    Rating: 3/10

  • Brightburn

    Brightburn

    ★½

Brightburn was a movie that I was really excited to watch when the trailer came out! Sadly I wasn't able to see it in the theatre but I finally got around to watching what I thought was going to be an interesting movie. Yet this movie was basically "what if Superman was evil" which is definitely an interesting alternative to the original superman but I've seen this same idea so many times. Of course, Brightburn is much more mature than…

  • Staged Killer

    Staged Killer

    ★½

This movie wasn't good by any means but surprisingly I actually kind of enjoyed the film for what it was. The story and characters are very basic, generic, exactly what you would expect from a super low budget lifetime kind of film. Even though it was very generic and predictable I thought it was a lot less over the top then other movies like this and I didn't find anything about that I thought was horrible. I also really liked…

  • Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark

Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark

    ★½

Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark plays with a bunch of good ideas but ultimately drops all of them for the sake of being generic and "familiar". The overall concept of the film is simple and pretty overused, the best way to explain it is by saying it's basically a mix of Goosebumps and Truth or Dare, and a little bit of IT with a 60s setting just for the sake of being more nostalgic. It's just one of…

  • Hot Summer Nights

    Hot Summer Nights

    ★½

I was really looking forward to finally watching this film because I mean an A24 film starring Timothèe Chalmet? Like what could seriously go wrong? Well it turns out a lot of things could go wrong and trust me when I say a whole lot of things went wrong during this HOT SUMMER NIGHT. I mean the acting wasn't awful by any means, I actually really enjoyed many of the performances and I didn't hate all of the characters but…
