This is how you shoot a jump scare scene without (ab)using annoying loud noises. Take note, today's directors.

Years ago i spent one night in Venice, walking through its dark alleys for a couple of hours. I remember thinking: "they should make a mystery horror film in here, there's an incredible atmosphere". Tonight, watching Don't Look Now, all those feelings showed up again. Roeg truly captured that mood.

Side note: I'm italian, so listening to Donald Sutherland speaking my language was a blast, especially him saying "Adagio" like 20 times. Loved it!
