"Well, if you only knew how little I really know about the things that matter."

Luca Guadagnino, Brav-the-fuck-o you've outdone yourself in every way. This film plays with your emotions and senses in such a brilliant way. You want the food their eating, you want to be in Italy. The beautiful cinematography sets up the world that our two leads have to explore in such a masterful way. The music by Sufjan Stevens is absolutely wonderful.
This film is unconventional in every sense of the word. Every rule of filmmaking and screenplay writing is broken. The plot is watching these two characters get to know each other, nothing more nothing less. The only antagonist is time. The slow pacing allows this relationship to work and feel natural. Timothee Chalamet is incredible in this film, so much emotion coming from him especially in that final scene. Armie Hammer is wonderful and I'm mad that he keeps getting slept on for good roles. Michael Stuhlbarg, while being only a supporting character, gives one of the greatest monologues I've seen in quite some time

By far my favorite film of 2017.
