The moment I jump into a deep body of water this film has engrained in my mind the terrifying image of a massive fish’s jaws gaping open at me. And it simultaneously filled a young me with unlimited wonder and a fascination for sharks.
I simply love this movie for so many reasons. The characters, the chemistry, the acting, the suspense, immense imagery, unbelievable behind the scenes stories that only prove how incredible an achievement this film is and the fact that the plot simply NEVER. STOPS. MOVING. It’s iconic, it’s nostalgic and it’s pure quality.
This is a proper Hollywood MOVIE. Don’t even get me started on the score.
It’s only an island if you look at it from the ocean
You’re gonna need a bigger boat
Stop playing with yourself Hooper.
Favourite scene: how can you choose one? The Indianapolis scene always gives me shivers though
