Hayden Welch’s review published on Letterboxd:
Wonderfully novelistic collection of stories that all nod their head to different eras and idiosyncrasies of French culture. The framing, coloring, and set decoration is so transporting. This culmination of performers from every continent really adds to the feeling of community. The French Dispatch is an inclusive paper and this fictional visualization of it is just as diverse. Film of the year so far.
