  The New York downtown scene of the 80s/90s and Nan Goldin’s art and activism is adroitly weaved into documentary narrative form centering around Goldin’s more recent activism on the opioid crisis.

  The resulting mix of art, politics, pain, and truth comes together to make for a beautifully heartbreaking watch.

  Much much better than the last one, thankfully. While it has some eye roll moments, it’s expected at this point. Once the tension builds here it pretty much remains through the end. 

  So basically it’s below scream 1 and scream 4 for me, but maybe above scream 2??
