Apocalyptic narratives seem to always find their way into my psyche, always burrow deep within me; it’s a reflection of the quickly accelerating world we live in. I don’t know if the world is worth it, I’m a bitter depressed faggot, but I have to believe it is, I have to believe and have faith in love. It’s why I do what I do, it’s why I have to do what I do, it’s why I have to give all my love and faith in the children I work with every day, even if they scratch me or pull my hair, in a sector that the powers that be deem not fit for purpose. I have to at least show them a future full of love is possible. There’s nothing else left. The world is moved by love. It kneels before it in awe.
