at first seems like a generic sex-positive shallow hangout film in the porn industry, with its cutesy female friendships and off-beat choral music as if its afraid the material itself cant stand on its own artistic merit. but that shallowness is weaponised the deeper we go, through the emotional brutalising and soul-sucking of Bellaβs character; edits and cuts allow for multiple POVs in a scene for both erotic and violent treatments often of the same shot. weaponised βconsentβ etc etcβ¦
