I loved this movie so much. SO MUCH. It wasn't perfect, but it was so audacious, hilarious and moving. Waititi's sensibility is part bat-sh*t crazy, part frantic moralist and part tender-hearted auteur.
And the performances... the children were remarkable, and Sam Rockwell and Scarlett Johansson both brought layers of depth and emotion I wasn't expecting in this film.
Props to Michael Giacchino for the music too, excellent all throughout.
I can't wait to see this again.
